Preview thoughts and Week 1 Composite Schedule
Couldn't wait so I went and watched Findlay preview Wauseon. The Trojans have some pretty good wrestlers between about 160 and 215 like DIvision I district qualifiers Matt Alexander (189) and John Kapostasy (171).
That will be the meat of their lineup. They are very young in the lower weights though but coach Ben Kirian is optimistic.
Wauseon had some good looking wrestlers at the smaller weights and from what I undersand Coach Mike Ritter had a very young lineup.
The officials, state tournament veterans, Dusty Wilson and Ron Nieset weren't yet in midseason form. Before the match they asked me if I wanted to see a rule book. I jokingly told them I was a coach and I knew the rules better than they did. They got a laugh out of it.
The Midland Athletic League preview was scheduled for tonight in Mohawk too. But I have too much to do to drive to Sycamore tonight.

Awesome site Jamie! If only there were more like you. I have the full Gibsonburg results if you would like them. I have no idea how to get them on the computer though. Maybe I'll just give them to you next Wed.
